Real Estate Study
Business has changed drastically over the past decade, especially in rural America and urban cities. Information and creativity driven companies have replaced manufacturing and traditional industry. Independent contractors collaborate to compete for business worldwide. These clusters of creative professionals abound in Asheville, North Carolina and form a new business sector: the “Creative Economy.”
To demonstrate the impact of the “Creative Economy,” HandMade in America conducted a study of businesses residing in the heart of downtown in order to determine the percentage currently occupied by creative economies.
Complete details of the study are available in Mapping Creative Communities: The Impact on Real Estate
